A street scooter that can still ride park
The Air RS v3 weighs about 4kg, and Root calls it the strongest street scooter it has built. It is made for street riders, and for taller riders, who also like some time in the park. Root says it is the lightest and fastest Air RS so far, and the lightest complete with a 6" wide deck.
- Light and durable. The low weight makes tricks easier and the scooter easier to control. The strength comes from Root's Chromolite bars and i-beam reinforced deck.
- A different kind of deck. The 6" wide Air v3 deck was redesigned and tested by professional riders. Root builds it from a magnesium-rich 6082 alloy that it says is lighter and stronger than other decks on the market.
- Unbox and ride in minutes. It arrives 95% assembled. Fitting the bars takes one tool, then it is ready to ride.
Features
Deck: A one-piece forged headtube joined to Root's i-beam deck. It is light, balanced and strong, with a flat bottom for rails and plenty of foot space for riders with big feet.
Bars: Chromolite bars, 690mm tall and 650mm wide. They are triple-butted to save weight, and Root says they are as light as titanium and as strong as chromoly.
Wheels: Root AIR 120mm wheels.
Fork: A one-piece forged fork in 6061 aluminium, with HIC compression.
Grips: Root Fractal grips, soft and durable for long sessions.
