What size griptape do I need for my scooter deck?

Match the sheet to your deck width or go wider and trim. Most decks are 5.5 to 6.5 inches wide and 19 to 23 inches long, and a 23 inch sheet covers them all.

How do I apply scooter griptape?

Peel, lay it flat from one end, press it down from the centre out, then run a file along the deck edge to mark the outline and cut along it with a sharp blade. Poke the brake and axle holes through from underneath.

Can I use skateboard griptape on a scooter?

You can, but scooter griptape is sized for a scooter deck and made for the way a scooter is ridden, so it fits without joins and lasts. The Root sheets cost about the same as a sheet of skate grip.

Does a new deck come with griptape?

How often should I regrip?
