About Ethic DTC

Ethic DTC was founded in France in 2012 by Kevin Demay, a designer with a long history in scooter parts, and it has built its name on simple, light, well-priced street parts and the 12STD axle system that runs a 12mm axle instead of the usual 8mm. The Pandemonium, Lindworm and Erawan decks are classics of the street scene, and the Tenacity bar is one of the best-known bars in street scootering.

Frequently asked questions

What is Ethic DTC 12STD?

Ethic's 12 Standard system runs a 12mm axle instead of the usual 8mm for a stiffer, stronger deck and fork. 12STD parts need matching 12STD wheels or spacers, so check the listing before mixing them with other brands.

Are Ethic Tenacity bars in stock?

Check the listing for live stock. They sell out quickly between shipments. The Root Chromolite T-Bar is the closest in-stock equivalent.

Are Ethic grips good?

DTC grips are the longest-lasting grips we sell. They start firm and wear in rather than wearing out.

Do Ethic parts fit other brands?

Bars, grips and headsets fit any standard scooter. Forks, decks and wheels marked 12STD are built around the 12mm axle and need matching parts.
