About Root Industries

Root Industries is an Australian scooter brand founded in 2009 that started with wheels and bearings and grew into one of the biggest complete scooter ranges in the country. Root gear is developed and tested with Australian riders, priced sensibly, and, crucially for anyone buying before a birthday, kept in stock year round. That reliability is why Root is the first brand we point parents to.

Where to start

  • Complete scooters. Type R Mini for roughly five to eight year olds, Type R Pro for eight to thirteen, Type R GT for taller riders, then the Invictus v3 and Air RS v3 for fourteen plus and anyone already landing tricks. Our Root size guide matches each one to height and age.
