Carole Park Skatepark Review

Carole Park is actually a hidden gem. It’s not one you’ll hear about a lot, but every time we’ve visited it’s been a great session. Jack Hopgood shows how much you can get out of this park, with some very gnarly clips thrown into this review.

Why it’s worth the trip

It’s a beginner-to-intermediate park with some genuinely cool obstacles. The kink ledge is the standout — really thick coping, super bluntable, hit the flat and pop something off the kink. The flat-down bar is square with rounded edges, so you can almost treat it like a round rail, and the down rail and hubbas share the same sharp-but-bluntable coping as the ledges.

The swirly quarters at each end are steep — roll up lazy and the transition will catch you out — and the back one has a DIY resi box on top courtesy of the local kids. One heads-up: the fence sits close to the main ledge, so the run-up is short and you have to be quick with it. Watch the video above to see the lines Jack found.
